China Plates FLORAL Dishes
PORCELAIN Display
For your viewing pleasure we have Four
Exquisite Antique China Plates dating back to the 1840's..
We have here another wonderful find in this
Group of 4 Antique Plates.
These plates which date back in time to the
period of about the 1840's have a Diameter of about 8 inches.
They feature a finely detailed sprig of Rosebuds
amidst their lush green leaves. Interestingly enough, the larger
leaves have been given a lovely golden color. On two of the
plates, the leaves are a bit lighter in tone than on the other
two plates. As can be noted in the photograph we have provided
here, the underside of the plates does not show a maker mark.
These beautiful plates are in Antique condition
exhibiting surface wear as well as age-related wear to the edges.
There is also a kind of sandy Texture to the glaze. In addition,
they seem to have lost nearly all of the edge trim which originally
was probably a gold color; there is only a very faint residue
remaining so it is difficult to know exactly what the original
color was. That being said, they still are quite a treasure
- and should be fantastic additions to your Antique Plates collection.
They can only continue increasing in value as more and more
time goes by bringing you much pleasure as well as many compliments.

yourself - or - as a treasured and well-appreciated gift for
that very special person in your life!
